A Calm Day

Fortunately, a morning of calm conditions allowed the nets to be opened.

A few birds were unearthed from the surrounding dunes including a single Snipe, Wheatear, Reed Bunting and two Black Redstarts. The nearby woodland produced singles of Crested Tit and Mistle Thrush.
