Nothing special
As usual, the NW wind is not good for migration, and we don't have much to say about it. So our goal was to focus on quality instead of quantity, and for that, we had two target species: the spotted redshank and the velvet scoter, because these are two species that Leon had never seen. We got the velvet scoter, but the spotted redshank will have to wait for another day!
After the observation, I tried to consolidate the walls we built to be protected from the wind.
In the afternoon, Andreas and Leon took the bikes to go further south in order to find interesting resting birds. Unfortunately, they only saw northern lapwings and heard a black woodpecker.
