Quantinty over Quality

When we woke up at 5 o'clock we checked the weather report and found out it was going to rain so we decided to go further north than useal to an old world war two bunker. For migration we had alot of oysterctachers: During standard time we had over 600 just on the way back we had 200! About 2 hours in it started to rain and we were were happy we were sitting in the dry bunker. other species we say included: 18 redshanks, 3 turnstones, 1 bar tailed godwit, 13 dunlins, 22 sanderlings, 1 red knot, 9 great ringed plovers, 3 gannets and we were lucky to have 3 whimbrels land right infront of us.
