Its wet and raining, off to the museum we go!
Observation
Today Henrik and Åge joined us for the morning observation. So Åge, Gustav, Henrik and I (Sverre) endured the morning wind with 8 meters per second from south-southeast. Today was not the most eventful of mornings, but among ourfavorite moments was 2 canadien geese, 1 brant goose (knortegås), and three ravens going south. The ravens was a nice surprise as we do not have them everyday, especially not three at the same time. Usually they come as a pair. They were quite far away, but still a nice sight. We were however not bored as we had plenty of wigeons to count! Matter of fact close to a thousand wigeons and roughly 150 pintails! In total we had 49 species today. Not bad at all:)
After the standard three hours of observation, the wind picked up and it started raining a bit. So Gustav, Mathilde, Lise and i decided to go to the Tirpitz museum a couple of kilometers from here. A wonderful museum with exhibits about the local area on the westcoast, the bunkers in Blåvand and the second world war as well as a nice exhibit about amber. Definitely worth a visit:)
